Application:

Flanges are widely used in many fields. In industrial piping systems, it is a key connecting component whether it is water, oil, gas, or corrosive, high-temperature and high-pressure fluid transportation of chemical pipelines. For example, in the petrochemical industry, a large number of pipelines are connected by flanges, bolted and sealed with gaskets to prevent medium leakage. Its multi-specifications can adapt to different pipe diameters and pressure levels. In equipment connection, pumps, valves, compressors, etc. are also connected to pipelines by flanges to ensure stable connection, good sealing, effective fluid transmission, and easy disassembly when equipment is repaired and replaced. In building water supply and drainage systems, flanges are also commonly used in large pipe diameters or high sealing requirements to ensure smooth and stable water supply and drainage.

1. Firm connection

Flanges connect two pipes, pipe fittings or equipment tightly together through bolts, and can withstand high pressure and tension. The tightness of the connection can be adjusted by tightening the bolts, which can generally effectively prevent medium leakage. For example, in a high-pressure oil pipeline system, flange connections can ensure the safe transportation of oil in the pipeline and withstand the high pressure in the pipeline without loosening or leakage.

2. Versatility and interchangeability

The specifications and sizes of flanges are usually standardized, which allows flanges produced by different manufacturers to be interchangeable as long as they meet the same standards (such as national standards or international standards). This versatility is very convenient in equipment maintenance and expansion and renovation of pipeline systems. For example, when a damaged flange needs to be replaced, it is easy to find a replacement that meets the specifications for replacement without re-customizing or remodeling the entire connection. 3. Easy to install and remove The installation process of the flange connection is relatively simple. Just align the two flanges, insert the bolts and tighten them. When disassembling, the connection part can be separated by loosening the bolts. 4. Adapt to a variety of media and working conditions

Flanges can be used to transport a variety of different media, including liquids, gases and solid particles. At the same time, it can adapt to different working conditions such as temperature, pressure and corrosiveness. For high temperature environments, flanges made of high temperature resistant materials can be selected; for corrosive media, anti-corrosion coatings or corrosion-resistant materials (such as stainless steel flanges) can be used to prevent corrosion. For example, in sewage treatment systems, flanges can transport sewage containing corrosive chemicals, and in the food processing industry, they can also transport clean liquid foods.

5. Ability to achieve connections in different directions

There are many types of flanges, such as flat welding flanges, butt welding flanges, loose sleeve flanges, etc., which can achieve connections between pipelines and pipelines, and between pipelines and equipment in different directions, including horizontal connections, vertical connections, and inclined connections. This flexibility enables the pipeline system to be reasonably designed and installed according to the actual layout and process flow. For example, in a complex chemical pipeline network, different types of flange connections can enable the pipeline to be flexibly arranged in three-dimensional space to meet various reaction and transportation requirements.

6. Scalability and adjustability

During the design and construction of the pipeline system, flange connection provides convenience for subsequent expansion and adjustment.
